CTeenConnection

Cteen has made such a positive impact on my life and has allowed me to meet other Jewish teens from all over. My name is Lynette Martin and I’m from Miami, Florida. My cteen chapter is somewhat new so this upcoming school year will be my 2nd year in the program. I am a senior in high school! I participate in several sports including cheerleading and track/field. Fun fact: I am bilingual (English and Spanish). To answer the question we all get asked growing up: What are my career goals? I’m on the road to becoming a firefighter and a lawyer. (Sounds like a lot, I know 🙂 )

My first cteen event was the international Shabbaton last year. I fell IN LOVE with all that cteen has to offer. As soon as cteen was over I already started counting down the days until the next year and the next event. With all of my excitement, I was thrilled to have became a leader this year. I attended the leadership retreat and made more than a handful of new friends. I even have group chats with them now. Had it not been for going on the retreat, I would not of known about cteen connection. This is going to be a fun-filled year and I can’t wait to write articles.
