CTeenConnection

The CTeen leadership retreat is coming up in just a few days. This is a time when a group of CTeen leaders meet in Bushkill, PA for a weekend. During this time we learn how to better lead our Cteen chapters. It’s a great opportunity to meet your fellow Cteen leaders and have a good connection with them. It gives us, teens, a break from our daily lives and connect with our fellow Jews on a deeper and more meaningful level, as we learn about how to be better leaders, not only for our chapters, but for our communities.

What I’m looking forward to at the retreat is meeting other leaders and learning how to grow my Cteen chapter. I want to be able to face problems head strong with the advice I will take away from my fellow leaders. From the help of this retreat, I am looking forward to growing and becoming an even better leader. This retreat won’t only help with my chapter, but also with my daily life, whether it’s at school or at a new job, the stuff I will learn here, I will never forget.

Leaders are very important in this world. They help guide everyone and make sure there is order. Leaders have certain traits that make it easy for people to listen and trust them. They need to be trusting, responsible and open. All of these traits help a leader be a good leader.

As the retreat is coming closer, I can’t help but feel anything but excited! It’ll be a great opportunity to meet fellow teen leaders. Leaders are essential in this world and I want to be one of them. I want to lead, help and participate in anything that I am able to. Here’s to becoming a better leader, not only for CTeen, but for the future.
