I’d Fly Across the World For CTeen!

This past Monday I got up at 6am and hopped on a two our train to my country’s capital city London, from Manchester. Why? Because two of my best friends were there, of course!
Ever since I started CTeen, and built the amazing international friendships I have
I have made sure to keep the connections strong. I always tell everyone—jokingly—that if they ever land in the UK, I will hop on a train and go wherever they are. I never thought I’d do it.
Then, when my friend Hannah Kaplun flew to Scotland last summer, I hopped on a three hour train, all the way from Manchester to Scotland, just to see her for the day. How could I not? There was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to see her!
Then, this past Monday, I did the same thing when I found out that Hannah, and Claire Segal, another one of my best friends who I met through CTeen, were going to be in London for the day! I didn’t care how far I had to travel (even to the other side of the country!) I was going to do it, no questions asked, no hesitation! The friendships I’ve built in CTeen are more than just friendships, these people are my family! My CTeen family! And just as I know wherever I go in the world— if I land in their cities all I have to do is call and they’ll be there— they know the same is true for me.
So, if you ever land in the UK, I’ll be there and my house is open to you!
It’s only an incredible thing such a CTeen, filled with incredible people that could facilitate such friendships where we would fly across the world to see each other!!
As I finish out my fifth and final year in CTeen, all I can say is THANK YOU!! Thank you for giving me an amazing experience filled with incredible events and of course the INTL Shabbaton. And last but most importantly THANK YOU for giving me life long international friendships with the most amazing people in the world!!!!
