Countdown to the Shabbaton Day 5: Shabbat!

I don’t know about you guys, but for me, the ultimate part of the Shabbaton is Shabbat!
Last year, us boys took a tour of 770, followed by Friday night prayer and then the biggest loudest, coolest Shabbat dinner I had ever been to.
From singing at the top of our lungs during the Friday night meal to games, to bonding with all of the new friends I had made throughout the day…and don’t forget the epic workshops and opportunities to learn something new about Judaism, too.
For those of you who have never celebrated or observed Shabbat—I know what you’re thinking. It may seem hard at first, but trust me, the second you step into the ‘Shabbat mode’—with thousands of people who may very well be keeping Shabbat for the first time too—you’ll be blown away and totally forget about Snapchat for a few hours.
Shabbat is a really amazing experience and is the chance to unplug and recharge—and there’s no better place to do that than at the NYC Shabbaton! See y’all there!
