8 Reasons Chanukah is the BEST Jewish Holiday
1.The Garb: Nowadays, Chanukah apparel has become a huge trend. You can find sweaters containing light up menorahs, cute puns, and even the classic ugly Chanukah sweater!
2.The Food: If you like fried food, then this holiday is just right for you! From delicious jelly donuts, to those yummy latkes, there is something greasy for everyone!
3.The Music: Chanukah music has been all the rage in the past few years (shout out to the Maccabeats!), but did you know that the tunes we sing date back all the way to the time of the Maccabees? There’s something for everyone to listen to and enjoy during these eight days, and all year round!

4.The Menorah: Light the menorah as close to a window as possible, making sure that the whole world can see it. Not only is it a special time with friends and family, but it is also a beautiful sight!
5.The Miracles: Chanukah is a time of miracles. We see around this time of year so many miraculous moments — you can’t deny the Divine Providence!
6.The Parties: Gather your Jewish friends, family, CTeen chapter, and even you pets! Chanukah is much better when celebrated together!
7.The Presents: Although it isn’t all about getting presents, you have to admit it’s so much fun! Eight nights filled with fun and presents — it is every kid’s dream come true!
8.The Games: One of my all-time favorite Chanukah games that goes back all the way to the story of Chanukah is the game of dreidel. I mean, what is not to love about gathering all your friends and family to play the game that involves winning chocolate?
